Waiting. The Charlotte Harbor Guide & Map delivers travelers and visitors throughout the area for tourism related businesses throughout Southwest Florida. Radiating from Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, the map also is distributed throughout the region at nearly 400 high traffic tourist locations. Our mission is to help visitors have better vacations by providing a wide variety of current information about area attractions and activities.

Whether through our publication, on our Website or our Facebook and other social channels, we strive to provide a complete picture of the Southwest Florida destination so visitors can make the right choices.

We have added new distribution locations and are now found at some 400 locations in the Charlotte Harbor area. The Guide & Map blankets Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, goes up to North Port, Venice and southern Sarasota...out to the coast of Englewood, Placida, Boca Grande and the Gulf beaches...east to Arcadia and down to some prime spots in northern Lee County. Our partnership with Charlotte County Community Services puts us at their parks, public beaches by the pay stations, libraries and other facilities. We also are at many State Park facilities and have excellent placement at the Interstate Visitor Center. We've also added many new RV Parks & Campgrounds and will be adding even more in October to greet our returning snowbirds the end of this year.

Next year, we plan to increase the size of the publication to add participants and improve the maps we provide visitors. We'll add a new, larger Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte map with better detail from just below Jones Loop Rd to just above Murdock Circle. We also plan to expand the Fishermen's Village Merchant Section to two full pages. And we're also adding a dedicated coupon section for all advertisers to make redemption easier!

We also will be improving our close-up Punta Gorda map and launching a new section in conjunction with everythingpuntagorda.com for Punta Gorda restaurants, shops and businesses. What they have done online, we'll put in print to help visitors better find their way around the greater downtown district and all its hot spots.

Our biggest initiative for 2016 is to totally revamp our corresponding website to include active content about the area and our partners. Our website is responsive for desktop, tablet and mobile users. Each participant will have their own highlight page that draws in existing online resources, including website, facebook page, google place, trip advisor reviews and more. We also are creating aerial and on-site video assets for the area and our partners to promote Charlotte Harbor on You Tube, Vimeo, Facebook and other Internet channels.

We deliver the visitor market in print and online

In Print: The Charlotte Harbor Guide & Map, the local map for Charlotte County visitors and the best advertising option for area tourism businesses.  An annual distribution of 250,000 copies, delivers more than 600,000+ visitors in and around the greater Charlotte Harbor area.  Published two times a year (in February and August) the publication has served Charlotte County since 1995. The recently updated publication includes a Southwest Florida map detailing Sarasota to the Everglades, a more detailed Charlotte area map and downtown Punta Gorda map, as well as a Charlotte Harbor events calendar.

Online:  Our Website, swflvisitor.com is now building. It's promoted directly to Charlotte visitors, as well as to people traveling throughout Southwest Florida.  Using Microsoft Tags and a simple url at hundreds of tourism hot spots from Sarasota to Everglades City, we're building an audience of modern, mobile and prequalified prospects who are already out doing things along Florida's Southwest Coast.
